Do portland.co.uk allow ASP and if so, do they allow Database connections?
*doesn't have time to look himself*
If so, they would be perfect for season 2 of Bog Sister- my current ASP host is absolutely crap.

Just looked and that's a no. They would be good for the main Bog Sister site, but they only allow 100MB transfer per month. When Bog Sister was on Geocities, it was allowed 3gigs per month, we topped that in the first week. Absolute chaos, they froze the account for 2 days. Had to change host in the space of 48 hours without FTP!

why not have two doublicate sites like i am planning. You can get a domain name like www.garyisgod.com for £2 a year at 123 reg, and then transfer viewers tro either site depending on how much bdanwidth your allowed. Gary ;D

the only problem is, if you do buy a domain name. Anybody who does aa n WHOIS search can find out your name, phone number and address.

Hi
If you wait a bit, then 123 reg are gonna offer a forwarding service. So a WHOIS search woudl show:
Gary 123 Registry their address blablabla NO23466
and then any mail would be forwarded to you.
